Southwater

A garden requiring some thought as the shape of the plot was a little unconventional. A family garden was created by offsetting the angle of the scheme to make the most of the longest length / view of the garden and make the most of the available lawn space. Changes in level had to be addressed with retaining walls created using gabions and natural stone which also double up as seating.

“With the challenging landscape of our garden, we felt we needed some help to make it a useable and family friendly space.

We liked Alex’s previous work. So asked for his help in designing a garden that would fit our family. From the start Alex was easy to work with, listening to our requirements and needs.

His vision for the garden was outstanding and his enthusiasm for the project was brillant, using the differant tools and skills available to him. He

managed to communicate the vision for the project and pass his enthusiasm on to us. Through the project Alex was on hand to help with any questions

and/or problems we had. He worked hard to keep the project going in the right direction and get the finished look that we required. Even after the project had been completed,

Alex has been very helpful with adivce on maintaining the garden. We are very happy with the finished product and would, and have,  recommended Alex to friends.” Keith Moss
