Malthouse Farm, Ditchling, West Sussex

An old Ditchling farmhouse which was taken over by an enthusiastic gardener and plants woman. I have helped to develop the garden in the 10 years I have been working there and yet we still manage to find space for new projects. An ever-changing planting palette with a traditional planting structure subdivided into different rooms which also act as windbreaks to help reduce the wind in this exposed location at the foot of the downs. This garden also opens for the National Garden Schemes as part of the Yellow Book program. (See NGS for more details).
