Canons Way, Steyning

A courtyard scheme to tidy up a garden in a modern housing estate. A new conservatory was built eating into the existing garden space making the space feel and look smaller than before. The simple circular design helps to create the illusion of more space by rotating view points round the scheme. The planting has formal elements with the box hedging however the remaining planting was included to provide seasonal interest and a blast of colour through the summer months.

“We were unsure where to start with our garden re-design until we started working with Alex. He prompted us to think about the different colours, features and layout so that we could provide him with a design brief. He then took the brief and produced a stunning design and during the hard landscaping Alex visited our garden to make sure our vision was made into reality. The garden now appears larger than before whilst having more plants and usable space and we are very pleased with the results”.
