A severely sloping site on the edge of South Downs in need of a scheme to create more level and useable spaces across the uneven terrain. The existing site was sloping in all directions with various mounds of built up soil from when the bungalow was first built. Various retaining walls were constructed using Sleepers across the length of the site to create a more even lawn surface and divide the garden into different areas. Planting borders were added to help soften boundaries and walls. The result was a more useable space more suited to family living.
