Tucked away in the heart of the city this really is a secret garden, in Victorian times a market garden. The garden is organic and gives interest all yr, supporting cut flowers, vegetables, fruit, old climbing roses and a pond. Many of the plants have been propagated by the garden owner, and the garden has unique features using many recycled materials.

A different NGS experience, come and find Frances scaling the vertiginous slopes of her quarry garden! A challenge to both visitor and gardener. Cottage garden surrounding C16 house (not open) with spring fed pond, primulas, stumpery, dizzy crow’s nest viewing platform. Garden blending into woodland. Not a manicured garden. Warning – some love it, others hate it!
