Parkland, meadows and woodland. Formal gardens by Harold Peto featuring 20 interlinking ponds, impressive water garden known as The White Sea. Large Horsham stone terraces and lawns look out onto clipped yew hedging and specimen trees. Well stocked herbaceous borders, set in the grounds of Grade II listed Ernest George Mansion.

Originally part of the Leonardslee Estate, the 1987 hurricane brought down much of the Victorian/Edwardian planting. The present 6 acre garden has evolved since then with many interesting and unusual trees and shrubs, and a longer flowering season. Still an informal garden, there are hidden paths, a secret garden, lawns and a wild flower garden.
