The Old Vicarage, The Street, Washington Sussex, RH20 4AS (Mon 6th & Sun 26th April)
3½ acre garden, set around 1832 Regency style house (not open). Front is formally laid out with topiary, a large lawn and mixed border. To the rear some mature trees dating back to C19, herbaceous border, new large pond and stunning uninterrupted 20m view to the North Downs. Stream and woodland area with log cabin.
Manor of Dean, Tilington, Petworth, Sussex, GU28 9AP (19th April)
Traditional English garden, approx 3 acres, with herbaceous borders, a variety of early flowering bulbs, snowdrops, spring bulbs, grass walks and grass steps. Walled kitchen garden with fruit, vegetables and cutting flowers. Lawns, rose garden and informal areas with views of the South Downs. Garden under a long-term programme of improvements.
Dachs, Spear Hill, Ashington, Susex, RH20 3BA (Sun 12th April)
A waterlogged field turned into a beautiful garden of about 2 acres. Incl white garden, bog area, stream and unusual design of bridges. Several other themed beds with perennials of different textures and colours. Over 200 varieties of daffodils (100 new this yr) and narcissi, some snowdrops, fritillaria and iris in spring.
