Services

We offer a professional garden design service across the South of England, including West Sussex, East Sussex, Surrey, Kent, Hampshire and London, however all Commissions are considered whatever the location. Our services cover every aspect of the garden design process, from consultation to small planting schemes, detailed plans, construction, and project monitoring for larger landscaping projects. Some of the most typical services are listed below. However, our approach to creating gardens is entirely flexible and if you think what you see doesn’t suit your needs, don’t be afraid to call to discuss your requirements further.

Design

The design process would typically start with an initial meeting at the proposed site. This provides the opportunity for both client and designer to meet and discuss the potential project in more detail. A detailed Client Brief is drawn up during this meeting which is the basis for any work commissioned. This initial consultation is normally free of charge but fees may be applicable depending on location. Fees for any proposed design work can be given after this initail meeting and after the Client Brief has been drawn up.

Consultancy

We provide a professional Horticulture Consultancy service for clients who don’t need a complete re design. This service is often best suited for clients who want to get the best out of their existing scheme. A fresh pair of eyes can often provide the inspiration needed to make your existing garden the space you want it to be. Consultancy can include anything from advice on planting or the addition of hard landscaping, we can also advise on how to maintain your garden too.

Build & Planting

We work with a dedicated team to bring our Garden Designs to life. For all projects we have long standing relationships with a network of reliable and trustworthy contractors, ensuring that clients have access to the best trade contacts. This service includes all aspects of the garden build. Once the main body of the hard landscaping has been completed, we generally get involved with the planting of each project too – we still like to get our hands dirty and love to see the garden coming together in the final stages of the build.

We are able to provide a full tendering and project monitoring service for those clients that need a little extra help managing the quotation and build process. For those clients that are a little more “hands on” our services are entirely flexible and can be stripped back to suit each individual clients needs and requirements.

Maintenance

Our maintenance service is aimed at helping clients to look after their gardens after the main garden build and planting has been completed. This can follow on from the work we would have previously done in designing and building the garden and provides a fluid service from the start to the end of every project.

As a guide our services would include one of the following options:

Maintenance Consultancy Visits:
This would be aimed at clients who are keen to do the majority of the work themselves but would like advice on certain aspects of the ongoing maintenance in their garden. This service could also be applicable to clients who have gardeners who may need a little help to familiarise themselves with the scheme and particularly the new planting.

Management plans:
In addition to the Maintenance Consultancy Visits we are able to provide a bespoke maintenance schedule / management plan which would include all of the detail you would need to look after the garden on a month-by-month basis.

Maintenance Visits:
A full maintenance service can be provided for those clients who need a little more help looking after their gardens. This can include full management of the garden or a seasonal approach where visits would be timed with the changing seasons taking on the larger tasks required at those times. As always, our maintenance services are entirely flexible to suit each individual client’s needs.
