Malvern Spring Gardening Show 2010 – RHS SILVER MEDAL

To celebrate the Malvern Spring Gardening Show’s 25th anniversary, I was chosen with two other garden designers to join forces and capture the essence of the show’s unique appeal in one collaborative garden.

Built by Alex Bell Garden Design, James Steed & Claire Potter

Along with Claire Potter and James Steed we created a garden with rings of grassy mounds and planting ripples that evoked Malvern’s natural spring water and the contours of the Herefordshire Beacon at the end of the Malvern Hills range. Structural planting was provided by native cherry trees and shrubs and swathes of herbaceous plants complement the contemporary look of the hard landscaping.
